My completed collection. 2 guitars and a bass, the guitar on the right is a vintage shiro guitar. Shiro Arai, founder of Aria guitar made this guitar in his factory in Matsumuko Japan in the 70's.
First thing that i done is stripping all hardwares and strings. With a little wax and a hella lot of elbow grease, i polished the guitar to a gleaming finish.

1966 HAGSTROM VIKING
The most valuable guitar in my collection is this beauty. It is an authentic and verified 1966 Hagstrom Viking. At RM260, it is a steal. This model can reach up to USD1500 to some serious collector.
When i first saw this guitar hanging on a wall of the second hand store, i knew i have to rescue it.
Hagstrom is a Sweden brand. The most influential artist that ever played Hagstrom is Elvis 'The King' Presley. The king played the version 2 of the viking on The Comeback Show in 1968.

SGC BASS COLLECTION
The next on my list is this beautiful 4 string bass guitar. It is a 90's bass guitar by a company called SGC. The guitar is made in Japan, but the company is no longer around as it is forced into bancruptcy. The company is overwhelmed by the rise of huge Chinese factories making counterfeit clones at a cheaper price.
I am lucky to have found this guitar. I am luckier to being able to purchase this guitar for RM300. The hardware are Gotoh, in nice black finish.
There are 3 pickups with 4 settings. The pickups are active crossover, since this is a fairly light guitar, the sound is amplified by using a single 9v battery.

BC RICH PLATINUM SERIES
This is a very special guitar. Valued at over RM1200, i got at a cheap RM250. It is a very interesting design guitar. Mick Thompson of Slipknot is one of the artist endorsed by BC Rich.
The bridge itself is worth up to RM400. It is the famous Floyd Rose double locking bridge. The guitar is excellent for playing rock and metal and distorted sounds.
The classic made in Korea head features 6 in line black tuner. The small lettering on the end of the head says 'platinum series'.

SX POISON SERIES ELECTRIC GUITAR
This is the first ever electric guitar that i bought. It is an SX Guitar, made in Spain, circa 2006. This guitar retails at around RM900, and i managed to negotiate and got a bargain at RM300. This is considered a rare guitar, there are a total of 6 designs, with 4 poisonous animal logo inlay on the 12th fret and on the head.
My particular model is a les paul design, with spider logo inlay.
It is a black-on-black guitar, black body with all black hardware. The guitar uses 2 humbucker pickups, with 2 volume and tone knobs. As with every other dual pickup guitar, a 3 way switch to select the pickup in use are located in between the 2 knobs.
What's special about this guitar? This particular guitar really got me into guitar collecting.
